Unstuck: Embracing Imperfection So You Can Get On With Life (men's version)

This workshop gives men an opportunity to examine what happens when they feel stuck. Rather than viewing the experience as a failure, participants will learn to recognize their strengths, reshape the stories they tell themselves about who they are and what is possible, clarify their next steps, and build the confidence to move forward.

Unstuck: Embracing Imperfection So You Can Get On With Life

This workshop combines instruction, discussion, and self-reflection to help participants clarify what they mean when they say, “I feel stuck” or “I am stuck.” It explores the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and fear of imperfection that create a “cycle of stuck,” affecting self-esteem, relationships, careers, finances, health, and other areas of life. Participants will discover how to view imperfection as an asset instead of an obstacle to the life they seek. With this new insight, participants will have a way to assess "Am I really stuck, or is something else going on? What options are available to me right here, right now?"

From Stuck to Self-aware: Using Your Self as a Tool for Therapeutic Change

Every therapist has moments when they feel stuck with their clients. This workshop is intended to help therapists navigate those inevitable moments of feeling stuck with clients. It combines Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Self-of-the-Therapist (SOT) lenses for new levels of self-awareness. Participants will utilize reflective writing to uncover their own inner dynamics that interfere in therapeutic progress. Lastly, participants will practice an intervention that they can use on themselves and offer to their clients to create a positive shift in their work.

No prior knowledge of EFT or SOT is necessary. Seasoned therapists and therapists-in-training (students) are welcome.
